The inaugural Botswana Sustainability and ESG Summit was successfully held from the 21st to the 22nd of November 2023 in Gaborone, Botswana. As first of its kind, the Sustainability Summit emerged as a groundbreaking event that brought together thought leaders, public and private sector committed to shaping a sustainable green future for Botswana. Approximately 30 speakers participated in the panel discussions and shared case study presentations. The event unpacked ESG to all stakeholders and paved the way for commitments and actionable organizational strategies from 2024 that shall undoubtedly shape Botswana's sustainable development journey in the years to come. The shared vision of a green, responsible, and thriving Botswana echoed in various presentations, panel discussions and exhibitions, left a lasting sustainable impact on all participants.
