The Green Building Council South Africa is one of 75 members of the World Green Building Council alongside Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Founded in 2007, they are a dedicated team working in collaboration with industry bodies, leaders, government departments and professionals to develop market-based green building solutions for the transformation of the South African property industry. They are a member based organisation whose core focus is green building certification and training. We advocate for all buildings to be designed, built and operated in an environmentally sustainable manner.

The Botswana Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association (BEAPA) is a professional organisation committed to advancing environmental assessment practices in Botswana. Dedicated to promoting excellence and sustainability in environmental assessment, BEAPA provides a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and capacity-building among environmental practitioners. With a focus on fostering dialogue and ensuring adherence to best practices, BEAPA plays a crucial role in promoting environmental stewardship and responsible development in Botswana.
The Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) was established to promote and facilitate standardization and quality assurance in the country. BOBS plays a pivotal role in enhancing consumer protection, facilitating trade, and fostering industrial development by developing, promoting, and implementing standards across various sectors. With a focus on ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability, BOBS collaborates with stakeholders to drive innovation and competitiveness in Botswana's economy.
Brand Botswana is the custodian of the Pride Mark; Botswana’s national brand. It is a single identity and an agreed set of values, created to stimulate stronger communities, culture and heritage. Its purpose is to instill a greater sense of pride and community engagement in our country.
Ms. Lindiwe Modise is the Managing Director, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Auditor of the 100% woman led organization, Green Loop ESG Consultants. Ms. Modise is a leading expert in the field of sustainability and environmental compliance as a certified environmental practitioner in Botswana. Ms. Modise is the Chairperson of Botswana Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association (BEAPA) and Association of Women in Science (AWIS-BW). She is the Technical Committee member for the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) GDP5-Packaging and labeling committee and the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) – Sustainability Committee.

Ms. Modise’s interactive Sustainability and ESG speaking programs draw from her experiences founding and leading one of Botswana’s growing innovative Environmental social Governance (ESG) organization, concept development and hosting of the following events, ‘SESSIONS IN THE LOOP’ and the Annual Botswana Sustainability Week led by local Environmentalists and climate-change professionals.
